  As a resident, I admired Dr. Avallone's breadth of knowledge and his patience in teaching me. More than anything, however, it was always so admireable how much Dr. Avallone cares about his patients and will always help patients make the best decisions for their health. He listens to his patients, and gives them the respect they all deserve. That is why he was the only orthopedic surgeon for my mother when she needed to have her rotator cuff repaired. True to form, he was caring and honest with my mother; he explained everything in a way she would understand. Her surgery went very well, and he followed up to make sure she was doing well later that day. If you're looking for a trustworthy, intelligent, caring orthopedic surgeon, look no further than Dr. Avallone.
